Aces High AVA Squad Challenge

Greetings Devils v Brigade,
My Name is Gary Davis aka jaeger1 in aces high, aka captain1ma on the AH boards. i was wondering if you guys would have any interest in taking on the AVA admins and regulars VS you guys in some friendly, mortal kombat, base taking fun. the idea would be that we use a map that is conducive to this type of battle, probably AVAsml. we have 3 frames--
frame 1-- capture airfield with planes only.
frame2 -- capture vbase with planes and GV's
Frame3 -- capture vbase with GV's only.

i call it the AVA squad challenge, because i would announce a challenge on the AH BBS. there would only be a few rules and its all about having fun, not about who wins.

rules:
keep Hoing to a minimum
when the base is being taken, there are no rules
keep alt under 5k

you guys are a large group and its fun to get a bunch of people in there. I am one of the AVA CM's so we can keep things in check or change things on the fly. most of the other cm's will be in too. this gives you guys an opportunity to check out the AVA and have some fun working together at the same time. its usually a pretty wild time, because we banter back and forth on the boards to build things up when we do one of these challenges. this gets other people involved and helps give the AVA guys some people to work with so we dont get slaughtered. anyway give this some consideration and let me know what you guys think. I'll keep an eye on this forum and await your answer.

I would love to try and take a go at this. I think it would be fuan and a good challenge. For the mean time, ALL MEMBERS are requested on their input for this idea/challenge. I will give a final answer once everyone has had a chance to view this.

What do you need for a minimum # of us to participate? Peak time for us generally consists of a slightly more than 1 scrollbar with us and some quests on vox.

I feel it's a very good way to get some up close and personal time in that cuts out many of the 'Whinners' we generaly encounter in the MA, I just wish I was able to join you. am looking forward to hearing from you if this gets rolling.

as far as numbers go, as many of you as possible, even if you overwhelm us. we're looking for numbers. if 30 of you show up, we'll take you on. its not about numbers or winning or losing, its about having fun. i can make sure we have a map thats conducive to what i want to do as far as the setup goes and then its just about tactics, working together and having a good time.

i will probably put up AVAsml for the battle, but could use a different map, depending on whats up that week. the italy maps works for this type of setup too. the idea is to use skill, cunning and overwhelming numbers to defeat the enemy. i hope this answers some of your questions. feel free to contact me on the aces high boards if you have more questions. ill try to check in here more often.

the other thing is have you guys considered flying in the FSO? you are all so good at taking bases as a group, you might want to think about it. its friday nights at 11pm EST. take a look at it. any of your guys can test the water with JG54 if they want to try it out.

Ill contact the New Black Panthers so they can start setting bounties on people, cause that's legal for them to do.

i hear cattle prods work pretty well. i suggest this-- when you're in the game give everyone the address and tell them to join. plan B-- Create a user name and password for them and sent it to them, if your BBS allows you to do that as administrator. i feel your pain, i had the same problem with JG54.

We even give everyone the address. type it out for them, send them emails. sometimes even texts and phone calls. Its like trying to herd dead sheep, their not moving unless we do it for them.

I know its not pointed to me or my squad, but i would like to join...if you dont mind. I rly need to speak with Chuwie and Flakhapy about FSOs or AvA challenges for my squad. It could be rly fun!
Anything just to break that monotonous MA mood.

First of all I dont like being call a little bastard. 2nd of all, it sounds cool.

If I can make the time it's scheduled, count me in.
